Rocco Scarola moved to Canada from Bari, Italy in 1967. Using his culinary knowledge he worked for a number of well known restaurants in Halifax before opening the doors of his own restaurant in 1992. With the help of his wife Gail and a dedicated staff Rocco has been providing diners in Dartmouth top quality food & service in a relaxed atmosphere for over 15 years.
New owners Hannah & Robert Gibson had worked with Rocco for almost 8 years prior to acquiring the restaurant in March of 2008. Along with Rocco’s long-time Chef Tracey Cromwell they strive to continue with Rocco’s tradition of excellence for years to come.
